I would like to add that you should make sure the student teacher knows where the bathroom is and what the deal is with coffee cups and washing dishes and putting food in the fridge and things like that in your school. Also,
other routine things like parking spots, supervision, etc. Please introduce your sub to EVERYONE! It is very overwhelming to be a new face in the staff room, and somtimes people look at you funny and wonder what youre doing there. Let the students know that the student teacher will be in charge too. Tell your students that in front of the students, so the student teacher knows where

she stands in the classroom and doesnt feel like he/she is stepping on your toes if they ever need to discipline a student. Oh my grammar is horrible here, sorry, I just don't have the energy to think on a Saturday...
