Another thought following my response to Connie's message pertaining to teachers and their experiences with student teachers:

The STT experience is a time for professional growth for not only th student, but the supervising teacher as well. I know that in my personal experience my Sup. teacher has gained new, fresh ideas and methods to use in the classroom, and I have learned what it is like in the "real world" of teaching. I am very greatful for my host school and the opportunity that they have provided me. It should go both ways.
