I am sorry you are having a bad year.

Clip to ScrapBook
I am sorry you are having a bad year. I know it can be very frustrating to feel that you have reached your breaking point. I think it might be helpful to think about whether there is another career that you think would make
you happier than teaching. Ask yourself if you could be happy if you never set foot in the classroom again. You mentioned the possibility of getting certified in general ed. Most general education teachers will find themselves teaching special ed students as schools move towards a more inclusive classroom settings. In the school where I teach many of the teachers are complaining because
they have no training in special ed yet their classes have many special needs students. You may decide that this is not for you. That is a very personal decision, you are the only one who can make it. I knew that it was not the educational discipline for me. Good luck with your decision.
