College debt will kill you!

I don't mean to be negative, but think this through carefully. My major was non-endorsable also. I was able to get my teaching certification in 2.5 years, but drove up $15,000 worth of debt
(I had to live in a dorm, too far to commute from home). I did get one scholarship, but it hardly put a dent in it. I feel like I will be in the grave before my loans are paid off.
If you and your family are willing to move, there may be states with teacher shortages that will pay off your loans (Nevada?). Also, the government has a program to entice teachers to poor school districts.
Teaching has its rewards, but like anything, it has its pitfalls. Sometimes I wish I had stayed in business. My advice to you: Look at the financial picture VERY carefully.
