a class book
By Cathy

Clip to ScrapBook
Maybe you could include your students in the planning for your student teacher. They could each do a page for a class binder. They can include a picture of themselves and list things about them that they'd like her to know. (pets, favorite subjects, etc...) Then, when she is finished with her student teaching experience, the kids can write letters to her that she can add to the binder. It is a personal way to welcome and say good bye.

You sound so excited. I hope you have a great experience. I haven't had a student teacher in years. I guess the best advice I can give is to remember what it was like when you went through it and treat your student teacher the way you were (or would like to have been) treated.
