Clip to ScrapBook
It sounds like this teacher has a problem with boundries to say the least. The teacher has crossed over the line. All teachers in my school have to take part in an online education program to help us identify anyone who
might be behaving inappropriately with children and one of the signs that an adult is grooming a child for a sexual relationship is if the adult engages in non-sexual touching that sets the child apart from other children, ex. backrubs, hugs, etc. I can't believe that the parents have no problem with this. There was a case in NY a few years ago when a female teacher (Mary Kay Letourneau)
had sex with one of her elementary school students and got pregnant. I read recently that she started paying attention to this boy when he was eight. I think that some people mistakenly assume that all pedophiles are men.
