It gets easier

It is natural for you to be stressed and to be nervous and have anxiety your first year. I would be worried if you weren't. As with any job, it does get easier over time. For me, I was much more confident my second year and the confidence grew more each year after that. I am now in my fifth year teaching and I love it. Year after year, you become more comfortable with your curriculum and your classroom management skills. The length of time will be different for everyone, but stick to it. The more time as a teacher, the better you will get at it. Good Luck!
