Have you considered vertical acceleration for his math instruction? We vertically accelerate kids all the time when they have virtually "tested out" of the curriculum at their grade level. I realize that scheduling could make this a nightmare, but is there any way that you could send him to fifth grade for math?

If you've read Winebrenner, then you don't need my lecture on compacting the curriculum. That's why I'm mentioning vertical acceleration.
