Hi there! I was a student teacher at this time last year so I remember what it was like. Just remember is to treat him/her like a professional. I loved when my coop teacher gave me ideas and let me use her resources but I
had some problems with her undermining me in front of the students instead of talking to me first. One thing that she did that made me feel very welcome was include me in everything that the team was doing and she was open to hearing my ideas. The biggest thing that I would stress is to make sure that they feel comfortable enough to do their own thing. My teacher made me feel very uncomfortable

and wanted me to do everything how she would do it and this made it very hard for me to be able to explore my own style of teaching and develop my own lessons.
I'm sure that you'll do a terrific job! It should be a fun experience for both of you!
