And a {{{{{HUG}}}}} to go with it.I am sorry you have it so rough. The above poster said it best. You may ask yourself why are you doing it. Where are the rewards? It may not be until a | child comes back in later years to say thank you. I too work in a low socio-economic area even though my situation is different in that I only have one grade. But I do have the different levels of ability and sometimes you wonder if you are teaching them anything. Then one of your little darlings has an "aaahhaa" moment and it is all worth it! You may not feel appreciated by others | |
besides the children but they are what matters. You know that because you have stuck this out for so long. They appreciate you because you are the one constant in many of their lives. They depend on you, look up to you, and appreciate you. This is a great place to vent so feel free to post many more times. There is someone always here to "listen". I wish you the best.
