Me too
By Rosemary

Clip to ScrapBook
I just finished this book and I am trying to figure out how I can use it in the classroom. I was toying with the idea of using the author's subtitle x being the story of a mouse, a princess, a some soup and a spool of thread)
to have them write a fairy tale of their own. I was thinking of coming up with a list of characters that you find in fairy tales (princesses, ogres, giants, unicorns, witches, elves, etc.) and then making a list of ordinary things like soup and spools of thread, toothbrushes and shoelaces, etc. and having them choose a fairy tale character and one or two ordinary things and write
their own fairy tale. I haven't really finished fleshing out the idea because I have two books that I want to read to them before I get to the Tale of Despereaux.
