impulsive child
By patsi

Clip to ScrapBook
I know that writing a note to the parent is a pain, but it is the best way to document this child's behavior; in the end it will be a useful tool if his behavior does not get better. If I get an impulsive child like this I make sure that child is always close to me (sitting, desk, group, etc.)I suggest you make a daily behavior chart which lists the different parts of your day and special areas included(music, P.E.)so that you can write what other teachers are seeing also.A physician might like to see your documentation if this leads to any behavior modifications or medicine. It's pain, but it is for your benefit in the long run.
