teaching English
By chris

Clip to ScrapBook
Where are you? Are you going to teach in a school context? Is there an English environment? These factors can change the enthusiasm of the kids..I'd start with lots of games: 4 corners, Simon says etc, hands-on activities: making a paper doll, an origami etc... And songs: kids love to sing YMCA, Yellow submarine etc even with little knowledge of the language. Have lots of enthusiasm and they follow.
Also the BBC has a very good set for Beginners in English: video tapes and activity books called 'Muzzy in Gondoland' You could try to find it. If you have more specific questions, I'll try to answer them
