compassion or bait?
By partnered teacher

Clip to ScrapBook
Actually, I wish my "partner" could be placed on my insurance. Yes, I am a teacher and yes I work with children. Believe it or not! Yes, there are teachers who work with children who have actually HAD abortions or agree
with a woman's right to choose. Personally, I disagree with abortion. But my personal beliefs are not what I am teaching my students. As a teacher, I have worked with parents who are drug and/or alcohol addicted, prostitutes, gang members, thieves, murderers, gay and lesbian, welfare recipients and who knows what else. I work with all of their children offering them the best that I
can. I must question someone who is so quick to call themselves compassionate. Compassion can be seen through a person's actions and how they speak to and about others. Your words were harsh and critical. I do believe you could have stated your opinion and preference for Bush in a better way.
