We do report it to Social Services and the police are at the school within 20 minutes of the call. I am amazed at how much they do because in my education classes in college a couple of years ago they said to document and| eventually you would have a case. Well here it is the slightest sign and the cops are swarming the school. I am glad I can get the help for these so quickly. Usually it is a stepdad and the police go and get him and arrest him. I am not sure what happens after that but the kids don't seem to have anymore problems with bruises or saying things about games daddy plays with them at night. | |
I had one child who was being sexually abused and in her journal she was writing about how dady plays games with her and touches her. I was dumbfounded because she is a Kindergartener and she had this wild story to tell.
