so, how did it go?

If I had seen this post in time, I would have told you to be firm but fair, and maybe throw someone out right away to make a statement. I do this often. In the fall, with new seventh graders, the office knows that a large number of my students are going to be on their way to in house detention. It usually happens within the first fifteen minutes. After a while the kids know that no nonsense is tolerated.
