Supplying is a challenge

I've been in schools where supply teachers have asked me if I wanted to switch assignments with them. I said sure. They were more comfortable with the grade that I had to teach.

I've had a few times where the dispatch system or school has mixed up the dates. I usually call the school before going there if it is late in the morning(after 8:30AM). I went to a school once and was told that it was for the next day. We sorted things out and the vice-principal called me at home to apologize for the error. It was nice for her to call.

Since I am flexible the principals take notice. It is my attitude and professionalism that get me called back to the schools.
