We just adopted this textbook. Like anything, there are pros and cons to it. It is certainly an adjustment from our old Silver Burdett textbooks. Our district also opted for the Investigations part of the series. Again, a big adjustment. Some teachers are going strictly Investigations, some are textbooks, and some are combining the two. Just make sure that when you get the opportunity to get a new series, look very carefully at all aspects of it. I know there are some people that regret the decision to adopt this series, but with everything, we have to adjust to change. It is definitely a guinea pig year in using this series.
