3rd grade multiplication

That's always been a problem between teachers, but shouldn't be. I have a suggestion for you on that troublesome multiplication! Get yourself a tape of multiplication songs. I started teaching mine the songs in September...anytime we'd have a few minutes. We're up to our 8's now and we don't even technically start multiplication until January. When we do start, it seems to go pretty smoothly...but they still need a lot of practice. Have you ever looked into Touch Math? Our special ed. teacher uses it and I tried it with multiplication last year and it went right along with my songs. I hope things get better for you. I depend on my 3rd grade partner so much; I can't imagine being alone. Good luck!
