3rd grade spelling homework

I have a regular spelling homework schedule. Monday night students look at spelling patterns and write 3 words for each spelling pattern. Tuesday night they are to find a word in the dictionary that comes before the spelling word and a word that comes after it. Wednesdays, they use words in sentences. Thursday is studying for test.
