math info
By Debbie

Clip to ScrapBook
I am finding this to be true with my first graders as well. We do not have a text, we just have the tests we give every two weeks or so, so we are 'teaching to the test.' We are not allowed to go above what is on the current test, so although I know I have kids who should be adding above 10 and even double digit addition or more, I'm not allowed to. But, like you two, I have kids who still cannot add w/o manipulatives. Do you have any specific websites you can recommend? I would really like to try math groups with my kids like our reading groups. Thank you!
