hang them up?

Have you thought of hanging them from the ceiling? I remember one teacher who made mobile-like lists of common words (written on both sides) that she hung from the ceiling tiles. There was another teacher who's creative parents had made her a pocket chart type of thing for hanging from the ceiling. It went clear across the front of the room, but hung down only about 12-18" or so. In another school, there were vertical venetian blinds on the windows. The teacher never had them drawn all the way up (they were very tall windows), so the blinds were "closed" over the top part of the windows. She used the slats to hold folded over pieces of paper for her word wall.
