I've thought about quitting too

I am so sorry about your class. I had a class and principal exactly like that last year. This year is better--but not much. I, too, am thinking about a new career. I do not teach much now. I deal with societal issues and behavior--and of course, paperwork, paperwork, paperwork. There is no time for my family, home, or myself. It is affecting my health and sanity. As soon as I can find other work, I intend to move on. I am beginning to think that the system is broken beyond repair and that teachers are the patsies that are expected to take the hit. I am sorry this is so negative, but I think that I am just about finished.
