This most certainly is a serious problem and is affecting the child in many ways. The father needs to realize this. I would suggest that the nurse talks to him about this situation and if that doesn't work, the principal needs to step in. It's not enough to say it, the administration needs to play a part in this. How supportive is your administration? Good Luck!!!
