One week's notice
By NJTeacher

Clip to ScrapBook
I think that a week should be sufficient. We have a Room Mother's Tea at the start of the school year. Each teacher lays out a basic calendar of the parties and projects that you know you'll be doing. Of course, things can be added. What I find is that a lot of the moms are working these days. The people who are volunteering for room moms often have other commitments themselves (such as year book, library volunteer at another elementary school, and even a part-time job). As such, I find I can't count on having the help and support I once did. I do a lot of it myself.
