your points are valid. I too have a student who has the junkies lunches. The other day he had a fruit drink, a snack pack of mini muffins and a snack pack of cookies. that was the entire lunch. when I asked what had he eaten for breakfast he said nothing. oh boy! I am beginning a new program in my room tomorrow and I'm calling it Being a good citizen...and we're going to learn how to be good citizens in our class and in school...for many of my kids it will be a tough program...sad but true
