That's awful. I feel badly that you get treated that way!

Have you tried to make conversation? Sometimes I think teachers don't realize who is a sub and who is there for another reason. In my school, most subs are
familiar faces.
Are you a parent as well? At my school, if the sub is a parent w/ a bad reputation (meaning, they are known to be difficult, annoying, gossipy), we definitely go out of our way NOT to make small talk w/ them. Sometimes being a sub who is also a parent just makes teachers feel funny. The bad parents give the good ones a bad rap.
Sometimes teachers are just snobs.

At my school, teachers generally don't eat in the teacher's lounge ... it's not big enough to accommodate all of the people who have lunch at the same time.
