Semple Math

I've just begun using Semple Math in my classroom and while I don't go thru the 5th grade - it certainly meets your requirements for the beginning student. My kids love this program and think it's fun...it does a lot of
repetition and comes with flash cards...large flash cards I believe there is a web site you can check out.
One thing I do like in this programs which was designed I beleive by some special ed teachers is that is assumes NOTHING - and even teaches the kids how to write down a math problem and where to put the answer so they begin learning very early how to line up numbers and to write

the answer in the ones, tens or hundreds column and not to wander with your answer...my kids were writing there answers where ever they felt like it...it was a mess!
