Wedding

Congratulations! The teachers at our school who were married this summer posted their wedding invitation. They added a personal note to welcome any people who wanted to join them to see the wedding ceremony at the church. It wasn't tackily done at all. I feel if I am very close to a person (like I was the kindergarten teacher) I would probably be invited to the reception. However, sometimes, people who live close to and/or are members of the congregation like to see the wedding ceremony. I do not feel you should feel obligated to invite any staff members you don't consider personal friends to the actual reception.
