As a side note, none of the people I invited came. My mentor couldn't for whatever reason, my next door teacher was away on a vacation, the custodian and his wife were attending another wedding the day after in another part of the country, and the OT couldn't find a date and said he felt like a "dolt" coming alone. They all gave wedding gifts, though. You have to do what feels comfortable to you. It's important to keep in mind that if you aren't good friends w/ these people, if you don't spend time w/ them outside of school, if you haven't known them a long time, they probably aren't going to feel obligated to attend your wedding. It might be a better idea to invite people you have a history with and will be friends with long after your wedding.
