Great way to begin day

Clip to ScrapBook
Every class in my district uses Everyday Counts Math. Training? Yes! Even though one can follow the book, the ideas you get from the presenter and the other people around you is very beneficial. Preparing is minimal - just once a month and you get to put it all together at the training. Calendar math can last from 10 minutes to 30 minutes depending on what you bring to the table. Students make so many connections and gain lots of AHHH-HAAAs during that time. I love it and so do many so the people in the district. If you cannot afford for all to go - do the train the trainers program and send a few and allow those to come back and provide staff development for the district. Enjoy and Good luck.
