Yes it will all come together! Hopefully you will have a wonderful mentor who will lead you through your internship and allow you to grow and develop as a teacher. I had a wonderful student teaching placement and I left feeling confident that I could teach. Some of the things that you are speaking of (filling the room with books and building a community of learners) are super important and you already know them! Another thing to remember is that once you have the knowledge, your students will lead you in the right direction! Good luck!
