There is a book called the "Daybook" They have one for each grade. It demands ACTIVE reading and use quality literature from renowned authors. They are challenging for some kids. There is a "Sourcebook" for each grade level that is geared toward struggling readers. Representatives will give you a free copy if you email them through the site.
