Paul Mitchel has a shampoo that is suppose to discourage lice from attaching to the hair shafts. Also, using t-tree oil - a few drops in your shampoo will help. I always use hair gel and hair spray EVERY day. Lice is not suppose to like that either. I have had children in my class who use the mayo treatment and it did seem to work. I would even talk to someone at your local health food store. That is where you get the t-tree oil. I would try to stay away from using pesticides on my head.
