I wouldn't try to separate from elementary, middle, and high school tutoring. I have paid $45.00 for 30 minutes of math tutoring for my daughter. Home school teachers here recieve $26.00 per hour. But private tutoring do get more money. Every area is different. I live in NY and the cost of living is higher. I wouldn't take anything less than $40.00 an hour. It's less than $1.00 a minute.
