Positive reinforcement
By Tylana

Clip to ScrapBook
I would try starting a positive system. You could have a bulletin board of some sort and each day you see them they could have the chance to earn something. Once they have earned so many "good days" they would get a small
reward. Maybe a free homework pass for your class or a small candy bar, five minutes of free time, movie day, any reward would work and I would change the reward to make it more appealing. You could have the bulletin board be anything really but some ideas are: monthly theme, for christmas it could be earning presents under the tree, jan could be earning snowflakes, february hearts, or
you could do something generic like popcorn title could be "Poppin' full of good behavior" or you could use stepping off to goodbehavior and do footprints. I hope this helps.
