Clip to ScrapBook
Well, this may not help, because it's still food, but a friend of mine (inner city teacher) who teaches 6th-8th grade self-contained decided to teach healthy eating by using only healthy foods for parties or rewards. She stocks up on dried fruits and gives those out like she normally would candy and for parties she does veggies and dip and those sorts of things. At first the kids were very skeptical, but now they love those treats!!! "Ms. S_____, can I have a dried mango?" Ha!
