Clip to ScrapBook
I recently heard a child psychologist speak about ADD. He explained that it's not just kids - it's adults. We talk on the cell phone, while we are driving, while we are putting on make up, etc. Or we have televisions that
have two pictures at the same time so we don't miss something on another channel. IT's impossible to just fine somewhere quiet these days. This person's thinking is that we have created a diagnosis to fit the extremely harmful and inappropriate things we do with kids now. All the stuff you mentioned is so true in addition to focusing our days on only 'facts and figures'. What's extremely
surprising is if you look at the symptoms are ADHD - they are the same symptoms of stress, and sometimes even of neglect. Hmmmmm, makes me think - this might not be a neurological problem at all - but more of a societal coverup for not putting children first.
