some more prompts
By RebeccaK

Clip to ScrapBook
Somewhere along the line (can't remember where) I picked up this list of "30 second interventions." Some non-confrontational ways to redirect. I've used them for years and they're great. The list of suggestions I've modified for my own use, but here's the original:

Is what you're doing okay to do right now?

When will you be able to start (task)

What can I do to help so you can ______?

What is your job now?

What is the rule?

Is what you're doing now helping or hurting our lesson?

It looks like you have a problem. How can I help you to solve it?

Do you want to figure out a better way?
