Clip to ScrapBook
I have spoken to the principal, and he is the one who said that he must entice the interviewing teachers with the advanced classes. The principal says he is trying to give every teacher an equal amount of advanced and regular.
My main problem is that it's NOT equal -- there are still some teachers that are getting all advanced. But to say you are trying to make things equal, when in reality they are not, is deceptive and underhanded. I probably wouldn't mind teaching some of the regulars because I do think I could make a difference in some of their lives, but I just hate the fact that I have proven myself,
whereas a new teacher would get an advanced class without having proved him/herself.

I know some people are probably thinking I'm exaggerating the delinquent part, but some of these kids are 18 and 19 years old and still in middle school!
