Yikes! I am so sorry for this child. There is something to say for wanting your child to be successful, but man alive let up a little. I haven't had a parent to this extreme before, but I did have a parent last year that freaked out if her daughter made an A. Yes I mean A. Her daughter made an A in math rather than an A+ and she had a come apart. Even grounded her! She set up a parent conference and I tried to let her know that her daughter was extremely bright, but it was obvious that an A was not good enough. She is in resource class this year and I heard she actually made a B in science. Mom acutally cried about that. Parents!
