Go to the AR web site. quizzes in the search area put the book title and if it is an AR book it will tell you the level, points and etc. Or use the down arrow and bring up author and see all the AR books by that author
and get the level and points also. At awards-certificates The program automatically Will print a certificate, with students name and % goal reached. During each grading period, when a student reaches their goal they get to share a piece of candy (favorite is red licorice with everybody in the class) teacher buys the candy. Requirement is every students tells the student thank you and
tells them something nice. "Glad you reached your goal" "Good Job" "Thanks for earning a treat for us" and etc. Each earns rewards on the point chart. 5 points=the end of year certificate, 10 points=a big sticker for the front of their AR log notebook, 20 points= a bookmark, 30 points= a pencil, 40 points= listen to a book on tape, 50 points= buddy reading student picks any class mate to read with them. One reads a page than buddy reads a page and etc. They both get to take a test on the book. 60 points = a candy bar. Time to start over at the ten point reward. 15 minutes everyday teacher reads aloud from a chapter book. We also offer Book-It sponsored by Pizza Hut. AR books are in another section from the other books. We keep each level in a baskets.
