difficult to fit!

It's really difficult to fit everything in! The teacher who poster her schedule (the one who team teaches and fits it all in) almost knocked me off my chair when I read it!

There's no way I could fit all subjects in everyday. At my school we are required to teach 1 1/2 hours of math everyday vs. her 50 minutes. We also have specials for 1 hour whereas I think her specials are 40 minutes or so.

My reading block is also longer (required) because I have to teach guided reading and/or literature circles (one hour) and shared reading (1/2 hour).

Not to mention that my day is about a half hour shorter. You have to take into consideration the length of the day, length of specials, transition times, etc...
