Musical Rules
By Bob

Clip to ScrapBook
I enjoy setting some of the rules of language and math to music, and I've found that the shorter, the better. Most are only a line long, such as you might hear in a TV commercial, but by being short, they can easily fit into a lesson and can be sung as review more often. I usually make up my own tunes, but an easy way to create a parody is to match the ending of a familiar song or match a TV commercial jingle to the rule.
