I agree with the above poster - do what you feel best. It might help to type out your thankyou before you handwrite it, so you can check spelling, check it sounds professional, etc. I would finish the letter with 'Sincerely' or 'Regards' - to keep it professional.In my opinion (and this is mine alone) I would send a note as opposed to a card - to me it seems more professional than a card. However that is just my thoughts! I am sure whatever you do it will be the right thing!
