I can think of three approaches to this and depending on which one you choose, I may have more suggestions...

1. Are you going to be looking at art (from certain eras or masters) and have the students create original poetry to go with it?

or

2. Are you going to read published poems and have the students create original works of art to go with them?

or

3. Are the students going to create original art and original poetry that go together?
