don't sweat it!

I wouldn't worry about it. I see nothing wrong with giving out your email address. It's not like you're inviting the kids over for sleepovers. Some children have a good connection with a teacher and would like to be able to email them and say hello. I am leaving to go to a different school next year and I also gave the students my email address.
