biting nails and fingers
By patsi

Clip to ScrapBook
It sounds as if your student may have an obsessive-compulsive disorder or feeling stressed about something emotionally. Is there any stressful in her life that may be leading her to do this? Having a child with bleeding fingers (or nails) is probably not good to have around other children either. I would use this as a reason to give the parent schedule a trip to a therapist/psychologist. Something has to be different or going on home. Question parents about home life.
