Hi Meg,

I don't know how much you have been following this board, but many people, including myself, have had great success with emailing principals. After you have filled out all the district paperwork and delivered a
resume and cover letter to the school, just email the principal(find their addresses on the school website) and say something like this:
Hello Mr. Principal,
I hope your summer is off to a great start! I am currently looking for a teaching position in this district and, after much research, have found your school to be a reputable choice. I have dropped off a letter and my resume

with your office. I have also attached a copy of my resume for your convenience. Please consider me for an interview so that I may discuss how my teaching experiences and abilities can meet the needs of your students. Thank you for your time and consideration.
