no penalties?

Clip to ScrapBook
how can you correct a bad bahavior if there is no consequence?? Punishment is punitive. In the 'real' world, the place we want all our students to be able to function some day, there is punishment for breaking the rules. Fines, jail time, etc. All civil societies have rules and punishment. That is the way it works. To let kids think they can go on without following the rules of civility is doing them a HUGE diservice.
